The Tennessee Cattlemen's Assocation Outstanding Youth Award
The Outstanding Youth Awards competition is designed to recognize a junior (ages 12-16) and senior (ages 17-21) member of the Tennessee Cattlemen's Youth Association (TCYA) for their involvement in the cattle and agriculture industries, leadership, and community service. Participants will be judged based on the magnitude of their involvement and accomplishments in the cattle industry and agriculture, leadership involvement and participation in cattle/agriculture-related groups, and participation in their communities. The Tennessee Cattlemen's Association administers the program and chooses a panel of judges to review the applications and select the winners.
The junior winner receives a trophy buckle and a $250 cash prize, and the senior winner gets a trophy buckle and a $1,000 cash prize. The trophy buckles are sponsored by Oakdale Farms (Luke Teeple and Family).
The application period is closed. Check back in September 2025 for the 2025 application.
