As the Executive Vice President, Charles directs and coordinates all activities of the Tennessee Cattlemen’s Association (TCA). He is responsible for guiding the TCA board of directors, representing TCA in Nashville and Washington, D.C., planning the TCA annual convention & trade show, and maintaining open communication with industry partners and leaders. Finally, he supervises all TCA staff.
Charles grew up outside of Murfreesboro, Tennessee on a diversified family farm that included a dairy, beef cattle, sheep, and pigs along with row crops. He attended the University of Tennessee and majored in Agricultural Economics. Charles has been the Executive Vice President since 2008. He currently lives on the family farm outside of Murfreesboro with his wife Marla, and two children, Teddy Anne and Wheeler.
