Tennessee Cattlemen's Youth Association
The Tennessee Cattlemen's Youth Association (TCYA) is one of the largest, strongest, and most active state cattlemen's association youth programs in the southeast with 250 active youth members. Over the years, members of this association have gone on to serve as state 4-H and FFA officers, earn positions on national junior breed association board of directors, and earn coveted leadership positions and scholarships.
TCYA lays the foundation for Tennessee's future beef cattle industry leaders through its educational, networking, and leadership programs, such as the Tennessee's Top Tier program, the TCYA Youth Ambassadors program, and the TCYA Youth Beef Industry Tour. The traditions of the past coupled with the energy of the present continue to drive the TCYA to new and meaningful opportunities for its members.
TCYA is sponsored by the Tennessee Cattlemen's Association (TCA). In partnership with TCA, the association provides educational scholarships, leadership awards, and industry support to youth members and cattle industry enthusiasts across Tennessee. These opportunities encourage, recognize, and reward the development of life skills and values that can only be gained when today's youth commit themselves to the cattle industry way of life.
The mission of TCYA is to provide young cattle producers and agricultural enthusiasts with an organization through which they may seek leadership and educational opportunities to prepare them for a future in the cattle industry.
