The Tennessee Cattlemen’s Association (TCA) is proud to welcome our newest staff member, Sally Wingler. Sally will serve as the Office Manager for the Association. She will be responsible for managing the day-to-day affairs of the association, and work closely with our members, board of directors, industry partners, and other staff members.
“My passion for cattle and the agriculture industry is why I do what I do,” said Sally. “This is what I believe in and what I aspire to do.”
Sally resides in Christiana, Tennessee, with her husband, Russ. They have two children Foster (18) and Lauren (14). As a family, they own and operate Cedar Forrest Farm which is a small Hereford cow/calf operation. She and her family enjoy attending Hereford cattle shows on the local, state, and national levels. They are very active in the Hereford breed through the American Hereford Association and Tennessee Hereford Association. Currently, Sally is serving her second term as President for the Tennessee Hereford Association and second term on the National Hereford Women Board of Directors.
In 1993, Sally graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Animal Science. Previously, she worked for over 15 years as an Office Manager for a local pharmacy in Murfreesboro. Sally brings a plethora of managerial experience and cattle industry knowledge to her new role at TCA.
“Sally is a great fit for TCA. She has both the cattle production and office manager experience to be a real asset to our team,” said Charles Hord, Executive Vice President for the Tennessee Cattlemen’s Association.
We also want to thank Jessica Young for her work in this role! Jessica will now be working with the Wilson County Extension Service. We wish her the best!
