Murfreesboro, TN— Charlie Rowlett, Martin, Tennessee, was honored as the 2025 Friend of the Tennessee Cattlemen’s Youth Association award. The award was presented at the Tennessee Cattlemen’s Association Youth Awards Banquet, sponsored by Kubota Tractor Corporation, on Saturday, January 18, 2025, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
The Friend of the Tennessee Cattlemen’s Youth Association award was created in January 2022. The award is designed to recognize a person or organization who has gone above and beyond to show their support for the Tennessee Cattlemen’s Association’s youth members.
Charlie served on the Tennessee Cattlemen’s Association board of directors from 2019 to 2024. During his time on the board, he was Chairman of the TCA Youth Committee using his knowledge of the show cattle industry to propel TCA Youth Programs forward. During his tenure, he was a vital asset to the Tennessee’s Top Tier program. Always willing to listen to new ideas and figure out the best way to implement them. He has helped expand the reach of the Tennessee Cattlemen’s Youth Association, ensuring that youth members had the opportunity to gain leadership skills, network with industry leaders, and explore cattle industry careers through the Youth Ambassador Program and Tennessee Youth Beef Industry Tour.
The Tennessee Cattlemen’s Youth Association consists of 275 members. The generosity of industry supporters and volunteers is crucial to the success of the Youth Association.
