Five Youth Selected as Tennessee Cattlemen's Association Youth Ambassadors

Murfreesboro, TN—The Tennessee Cattlemen’s Association (TCA) and Tennessee Cattlemen’s Youth Association (TCYA) recently selected Levi Keeton, Avery Rowlett, Ella Callicott, Blaire Lamon, and Kate Henry as its 2025 Youth Ambassadors.

 

Kate Henry is the 16-year-old daughter of Bill and Jennifer Henry of Lincoln County. Henry is a well-rounded, young cattlewoman. She is active in many aspects of the agricultural community, including her local 4-H program and FFA Chapter, and county Farm Bureau Student Advisory Board. Henry is a junior at Lincoln County High School.

 

Levi Keeton is the 17-year-old son of John and Amanda Keeton of Decatur County. Keeton has worked on his family’s cattle farm since he was eight years old. Currently, he manages a 150-head cow-calf operation in addition to showing cattle and being active in the Riverside FFA Chapter. Keeton is a senior at Riverside High School.

 

Blaire Lamon is the 17-year-old daughter of Derek and Heather Lamon of Henry County. Lamon extensively involved in showing cattle on the local, state, and national levels. Lamon is also a strong leader in the Henry County Junior Livestock Association. Lamon is a senior at Henry County High School.

 

Avery Rowlett is the 17-year-old daughter of Paul and Michelle Rowlett of Wayne County. Rowlett plays an active role in managing her family’s multigenerational cattle operation. She is extensively involved in many extracurriculars, including showing cattle, church youth group, and a manager for the basketball team. Rowlett is a junior at Collinwood High School.

 

Ella Callicott is the 17-year-old daughter of Claude and LeeAnn Callicott of Hickman County. Callicott is a strong advocate for the cattle industry. She is an active member of the Hickman County FFA Chapter and Tennessee Junior Hereford Association. Callicott is a junior at Hickman County High School.

 

Melinda Hart, Director of Youth Programs and Outreach, is eager to work with the Youth Ambassadors this year. “I am excited to work with the group we have selected as Youth Ambassadors this year. Their time in 4-H and FFA, junior breed associations, and other school activities has undoubtedly equipped them to serve our youth members. I look forward to seeing the new and creative ideas they present.”

 

The purpose of the TCA Youth Ambassadors is to promote the well-being of the cattle industry and to further encourage youth involvement and cooperation in the cattle industry. 2026 TCA Youth Ambassador applications will be available in Fall 2025.

 

TCA was founded in 1985 with more than 5,100 members from across the state and the southeast. The organization works to provide the cattlemen of Tennessee with an organization through which they may function collectively to protect their interests and work toward the solution of cattle industry problems and build the necessary goodwill that will bring both governmental esteem and recognition to the industry.
