2024 TCA Convention & Trade Show to Bring Live Cattle Demonstrations to Franklin

The Tennessee Cattlemen's Association (TCA) is gearing up for its 2024 Convention & Trade Show, set to take place on February 10th at the Williamson County AG Expo Park in Franklin, Tennessee. Offering valuable insights for cattle producers and enthusiasts, this one-day event promises a power-packed schedule of educational sessions, live demonstrations, and a robust trade show.

Proudly sponsored by the Tennessee Farmers Cooperative and Protrition, this year's convention will be one that our state's cattle producers will not want to miss. "Not only hearing from industry experts but also seeing cattle being worked in demos, cattlemen and women will have many takeaways for their own farms," said Charles Hord, executive vice president of TCA.

The expansive trade show will host numerous exhibitors offering the latest advancements, technologies, and services tailored to the cattle industry. From equipment demonstrations to cutting-edge solutions, attendees can explore a wide range of offerings while networking with industry experts.

In addition to an information-packed agenda, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a lunch served onsite. Early registrants can take advantage of a special discount, saving $10 by registering before February 3rd.

Renowned speakers from various sectors of the industry are set to share their expertise during engaging sessions. Notable names include Dr. Lew Strickland, UT Extension veterinarian, Mack Moss from the Tennessee Department of Agriculture, Jodee Inman representing the USDA, and Dr. David Anderson, an economist from Texas A&M. The convention isn't just for adults; youth activities are also on the agenda, offering young enthusiasts a chance to learn and engage in cattle-related activities. Additionally, the Tennessee CattleWomen will convene during the event, fostering connections and discussions among women in the industry.

"Attendees can expect a day filled with invaluable knowledge, networking opportunities, and a chance to explore the latest advancements in the cattle industry," said Dustin Pearson, president of TCA." This convention is a celebration of our industry's dedication and passion for excellence."
